You’re ready to take on several climbs at a steady, but moderate pace.
You have to be a regular rider on the road and be able to ride for minimum 1.5 hours, non-stop.
We also recommend you have a minimum experience of riding in a group. We challenge ourselves one or two times per tour with the legendary climbs in Austria and Romania as well, but at a slower pace than the sport group.
The mid route rest stop will be a well deserved break for coffee and lunch or snack.
The sport level has almost the same routes as our Hobby-level,
in some cases longer routes with some more climbs and longer descents, but they are ridden at a faster, more consistent pace.
We stop occasionally to take in the views or fill our bottles.
The mid route rest stop will be a well deserved break
for coffee and lunch or snack.
Road riding is part of your sport regime
and you will feel comfortable
with a stronger group on the roads.
“If we add that our starting and arriving base is located in the heart of Transylvania, in the region of the beautiful medieval city of Sibiu, we believe that we have created the premises of a tempting setting for any lover of road cycling.”
“Both our guided tours and training camps have as their starting point and point of arrival the typical beautiful and quiet Austrian small village Annaberg Lungotz - and as a base the Rohrmoser Pension - purely traditional Austria Pension. The impeccable infrastructure, the various carefully chosen routes for you meet all the road cycling requirements.”
